Recently Miss Shah turnabout to the next level of entertainment and became hypercritical for Pakistani vocalists and marked them as run-of-the-mill, and it is insulting for the big names owns melodious voices. Ushna Shah in the Spotlight for all the WRONG REASONS
Ushna Shah is in the fuss today for making some punitive thoughts she made related to female singers in Pakistan, which inexplicably did not sit well with many. Moreover, in a now-deleted tweet, Shah contemplated why every female singer in Pakistan (except Aima Baig and Quratulain Baloch) is mediocre. And we are surprised over her senses and staggered to own a poor sense of humour!
She also commented on Sahir Ali Bagga’s Instagram post sharing his track with Hadiqa Kiani
According to Ushna, the currently shared track has “ruined my visuals”. She also shared her bizarre feelings
“Putting this on record should’ve taken Aiman Khan for the vocals.”

Though, when Hadiqa Kiani found out about it, she replied in the best way possible. Sharing a post where Ushna suggests Kiani is mediocre, the ‘Kamli’ singer decided to make a list of local female singers and the popular songs they hummed and are adorned on all levels by all ages.
Hadiqa Maam did her best effort to elegantly affront Ushna Shah and sent a long list along with a note about acknowledging the contribution of women in Pakistan’s music industry.
After creating the entire fuss Ushna Shah apologized to Hadiqa Kiani, blaming her “delirious and opinionated late-night” moments for the incident.
We hope Ushna Shah understands that this is not the time to pit women against each other and that her comments don’t come under ‘constructive criticism’ but came off as condescending instead. It’s okay to have preferences, what’s not okay is to put other people down.
