The Top Football Division in Europe, La Liga has Suspended its League for at least two weeks in order to Combat the Worldwide Spread of Coronavirus. Spanish La Liga is Suspended & Real Madrid Players are Quarantined Amid Coronavirus Outbreak.
The League Decided to Shut Down the Games just before the Top Liga Team Real Madrid set to take-on Eibar on Friday. First, the Spanish Management Decided to Play the Games without the Crowd but later on decided to Suspend for two weeks.
Recently, the Los Blancos Side placed int Isolation and all activities were Cancelled after one of the Club’s Basketball Players tested Positive.
Spanish La Liga is Suspended & Real Madrid Players are Quarantined Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
The Contagious CoronaVirus Outbreak is Shockingly Restricting almost Every Possible Activity in Europe. Recently, Spanish Top Division Football League officials have suspended the league for two weeks.
Real Madrid players, meanwhile, have been quarantined after a member of the club’s basketball team tested positive for COVID-19. Since both the Football and Basketball Teams Train at the same Complex and share the same facilities. Also, the Entire Complex is Temporarily Shut Down after the Positive Test of Basketball Player.
A statement released by La Liga read: “Given the circumstances that are coming to light this morning, referring to the quarantine established in Real Madrid and the possible cases in players from other clubs, La Liga considers it appropriate to continue to the next phase of the protocol of action against COVID-19. As a result, in accordance with the measures established in Royal Decree 664/1997 of May 12, [La Liga] agrees to postpone at least the next two match days.”
Other European Football Competitions are also Effected by the CoronaVirus outbreak. Italy’s Serie A has also been Suspended for a Significant amount of time. Champions League games have been played without fans in attendance, but have not yet been called off. La Liga-leading Barcelona is scheduled to host Italian side Napoli next Wednesday in a decisive knockout round match. Whether that game goes ahead, presumably, is very much up in the air.
