A sneak peek into the political and stellar academic carrier of Bukhari

Bokhari is a member of parliament from the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and is currently responsible for the legislative business in the parliament. She is also the precursor of the government’s law reform agenda and part of the legal team recruiting the action plan for the women in the justice system. It is pertinent to say that her position is very strong in legislation.

She obtained her LLB Hons in 2007 and was awarded the Helena Kennedy QC Scholarship award for her academic achievements.

Bokhari’s Professional Career 

Her professional career demonstrates major feat as well, as her professional legal experience includes representing multinational corporations, financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, local companies, and government entities and has provided legal advice on complex commercial contracts, joint ventures, and labor laws.

Articulating glee for being named as the young leader, Bokhari in a Twitter post said that she is honored to be named as the young leader by WEF.

WEF’s Young Global Leaders are a self-motivated group of over 1,400 members from 120 nationalities. The intention of the laureate community is to get-up-and-go change in the world through underlying apparition, valor, and inspiration. For 15 years, young leaders have obliged their communities, flung trailblazing skills, lengthened access to resources, and shook up outmoded ways of doing business.

Bukhari’s Efforts to Empower Women

Aside from emerging the action plan for the women justice system, Maleeka is also conscripting various pieces of legislation with Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Dr. Barrister Farogh Naseem. Bokhari has over ten years of professional legal experience in the United Kingdom and Pakistan. She is the vibrant and vigilant hope in the early delivery of justice to the civilians particularly women.
