Prime Minister Imran Khan while addressing the inauguration of Pakistan’s first tele school stated,
“Government cannot give any final date regarding the elimination of COVID-19 so children can learn from the tele-school channel. I wish that the education channel would continue to educate children even after the Coronavirus epidemic. There will be eight hours of broadcasting to promote education through the PTV channel. According to the agreement, the channel allocated will commence work in the next three months to promote education. The broadcasting period is from 8 am to 6 pm.”

The government has already signed a contract with Pakistan Television (PTV) under which the ‘Television School’ TV channel has launched. The content of the devised channel is affiliated with the learning objectives of the students for primary subjects.
