Pakistan’s First Tourism TV channel ‘Discover Pakistan’ Goes Live

Discover Pakistan will intensify the natural wonders of Pakistan. Discover Pakistan will broadcast its content in HD (high definition) to project the country’s natural phenomena internationally, in the best possible way.

Conferring to the channel’s social media accounts, the objective of the recent launch is to endorse Pakistan’s picturesque beauty, historical places, and top-drawer areas. It will also portray the tourism-related events, developments, along with a morning show-like program to highlight the country’s lax image in the international spheres.

The surfaced channel had been under schedule since 2017

The PTI government rewarded PM Imran Khan’s perception and launched the channel this year. PM Imran had also earlier established a 12-member National Coordination Committee on Tourism on August 26, 2020. The drive of the committee is to ensure the prosperity of the tourism sector of Pakistan in the best possible ways. The members of the committee include the deputy governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, managing director of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board, and all chief secretaries or additional chief secretaries.
