She is the granddaughter of Sahibzada Jahangir, one of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s oldest friends and his spokesperson on Trade and Investment in the UK and Europe.

At the age of five, Sirine and her parents got to know the misfortune from which Sirine have to go through.

She had a serious eyesight problem when she dressed up as a pirate. Soon a patch covered her right eye and she couldn’t see. All vision had already gone from her left eye. It was a terrible moment indeed. But nobody could stop her to chase her dreams. Sirine was serene for her whimsical pursuits and could trace the light in the dark tunnel.

Her father Kafeel recalled,

“We tried everything, even having her treated in India for six weeks and injections into her eye. But we felt helpless. When she was nine, Sirine was playing a game on her iPad and holding it very close to her face as she always did. Suddenly she came over, handed me the tablet, and said she couldn’t play it anymore. That was the moment I knew her sight was gone. I took myself into another room of the house to cry.”

Her powerful rendition of carrying You by Ruelle in the ITV show’s third semi-final last Saturday night was spell-binding. The honour of the nation….SIRINE JAHANGIR!

The Pakistani girl has garnered respect and earned a place in the top three against magician Magical Bones and dance troupe X1X Crew. However, she lost out to the former. The final will be aired in October. The judges, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Walliams, and Ashley Banjo, all extolled Sirine for a “magical” performance. However, when she was unheeded for the finals, viewers were blue.

Pakistanis, no matter where they dwell on the globe, are ardent and never feared of showing their potential. A 16-year-old Muhammad Shaheer Niazi from Lahore recently also broke Newton’s record related to the honeycomb theory. And now Sirine is the sweetheart of Pakistan and her beautiful voice could stand her out of the crowd. Sirine is planning to come to Pakistani during summer break, and we are curious to have a repartee gossip with the passionate girl.
