The Spiffing sixer by the men in GREEN
The momentous triumph by the men in green was announced by International Cricket Council (ICC) in a tweet on Sunday, saying,
“Victory in Lahore brings up the 100 for Pakistan. Pakistan is the first men’s team to reach a century of T20I wins”.

According to ESPNCricinfo,
“Pakistan has played a total of 164 T20Is with 100 wins, 59 losses, three ties, and two matches ending without any results. The achievement was made possible after Pakistan won the third and final T20 match against the Proteas on Sunday with four wickets remaining, and emerged victorious in the three-match series by 2-1.”
The team was chasing a score of 165 runs, as the team elected to bowl first after winning the toss in the last T20. Skipper Babar Azam and opener Mohammad Rizwan took up runs for Pakistan, scoring 44 and 42, respectively while Tabraiz Shamsi was the dangerous player from South Africa, who took four wickets in the match.
Hassan Ali celebrates the big day by recreating the viral video “pawry ho rahi hai”
While pacer Hasan Ali coxed Pakistan to victory, hooking two sixes and a four in the second last over of the match to wrap the win up with eight balls to spare. Oh, what a victory it was…undoubtedly enthralling!
“Yeh Main Hun, Yeh Meri Team Hai, Aur Hum Series Jeet Kar Pawry Kar Rahay Hain.” [This Is Me, This Is My Team, We Partying after winning the series]

Hasan Ali after his world-class performance in the series, articulated his busting joy by recreating the popular “pawri horai hai” when the whole squad flocked for a photo with the T20I series trophy. The video was posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in which Hasan mimicked the viral ‘Pawri Horai Hai’ in his style while his teammates can be seen whooping behind him.
The two teams will face up again for ODI and T20I series in South Africa in April. The mini-tour, inveterate earlier this week, will twitch with three 50-over matches before a four-game T20I series split between Johannesburg and Pretoria.
