Ertugrul Debate Enters Into Politics: Faisal Javed and Fawad Chaudhry
The latest debate on the blazing Play based on majestic Islamic history entered in the arena of politics, yeah bizarre but accurate, the heat waves of Ertugral starts hitting political personas of Pakistan.
Faisal Javed Khan Expressed his Good words for Ertugral Ghazi
Faisal Javed, who is also the Chairman Standing Committee on Info Broadcasting and Heritage, has been keenly involved in the project.
“Such great productions like Ertugrul @DirilisDizisi will help our industry. We should show some amazing work that has already been produced – Presenting Islamic History, Culture, Faith. Also, this should be bilateral – exporting our content abroad. It’s a win-win trade. Our drama industry is one of the best in the world in terms of talent, productions, direction, etc. With great substance, we can penetrate major markets across the globe. Awwww, wish we had reacted when rubbish Indian content (low standard dramas, films, songs) was aired across our tv channels, cinema & radio. Our own people promoted “Games of Thrones” here. Why should we object Ertugrul type content? Even PTV used to air Good English film.”

Fawad Chaudhry took his Twitter handle and articulated his candid concerns regarding Turkish play
“Surprised on @PTVHomeOfficial taking pride in other countries productions, you guys must focus on Pak productions otherwise foreign dramas ll ruin Pak productions, its always cheap to import foreign dramas but this ll have devastating long term effect on our own programming.”

“Diriliş: Ertuğrul” was Suggested by PM Imran Khan for the nation
“Diriliş: Ertuğrul” has captured global acclamation and has amassed a massive fan following in Pakistan after, on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, it was broadcast by PTV for the Pakistani audience. Though, the TV series has provoked a debate in Pakistan with many celebrities voicing apprehensions that foreign content will eventually prove detrimental for local content consumption and as a result, maltreat the showbiz industry in Pakistan.
Pathetically Fiasco is at our end…..
Everyone is voicing in the reflection of their perception but one should see the bigger side of the picture, it is not about airing the Turkish content or Pakistani content on the national channel, rather it is about the grand Islamic history that each country retains. In past Pakistani writers were motivated to inscribe on history and on Kashmir cause and struggle as well but now we do not see any patriotic and motivational trend. So, we should embrace Turkish content on doing justice to dramatize history rather than criticizing the massive hit to bare our own incompetence.
