The blockbuster film was released in 2000, stars Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty. It is one of the most favorite romantic movies of the era and still loved by the lovey dovey couples. An English-dubbed version of the Bollywood classic Dhadkan is swirling around on Twitter and leaving people in fits of laughter. The 2000 film, which starred Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty in leading roles, is famous for its OTT dialogue delivery and prodigious music but the English version is going viral for all the wrong reasons. English-Dubbed ‘Dhadkan’ Song has Taken Twitter by Storm.
Whereas the full-length dubbing is available on YouTube, a fleeting clip from the film recently burst on Twitter, leaving the audience with rib-tickling fun, showing a scene in which Akshay and Shilpa’s characters meet the former’s family for the first time. While the scene, in its original Hindi, rims with the typical saas-bahu tautness, viewers are too busy concentrating on the mechanical quality of the dub to focus on anything else.
A Twitter user shared the clip, writing,
“So apparently there is an English dubbed version of Dhadkan and I am deceased.”
