Previously, The Pakistan Super League had tweaked the original schedule to shorten it by four days with an eye on the worsening COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) situation. However, the Semis and Finals are Called-off Following the Worsening Situation of COVID-19.
It was the 1st time that Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings managed to get into the Top-4. Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans were Scheduled to play the other.
PCB Postpone the Remaining PSL Matches
The Pakistan Cricket Board had already Condensed the Schedule of PSL by Cancelling the Play-off and opting for the Semi-Finals System. As Per the Planned schedule, the T20 Extravaganza was to be concluded on March 22. However, the PCB decided to decrease the number of matches even as a lot of foreign players started to leave the country amid Coronavirus fears.
The news was Confirmed on PSL’s official Twitter page and added that the matches will be Rescheduled for a Later Date.

Cricketers Appreciated PCB Decision of Postponing PSL following COVID-19 Outbreak
Boom Boom Shahid Afridi is Sad to see PSL ends this way but he also Appreciated the Decision of Postponing PSL for Safety of People.

Soon after the news became public, Salman Iqbal, the owner of Karachi Kings, one of the four sides in the semi-finals, told ESPNcricinfo, “I have been asking for it to be postponed for the past two days, as we [PSL] was the only cricket going on. But, anyway, it’s a very good decision by the franchise owners and the PCB management.”

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been Suspended till April 15 and there might be a Possibility that Cricket Fans will be Deprived of this CRICKETING ACTION.

As much as we want the IPL to happen, we are also careful about the security of the people. It’s too premature.
