The Epizootic CoronaVirus is Started-out Gradually and now increasing Rapidly in Pakistan. Shockingly, The Number of CoronaVirus cases in Pakistan hiked to 184. So, the Cricket Board has decided not to Continue with the Remaining Matches of PSL. Cricketers Appreciated PCB Decision of Postponing PSL following COVID-19 Outbreak.

Previously, The Pakistan Super League had tweaked the original schedule to shorten it by four days with an eye on the worsening COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) situation. However, the Semis and Finals are Called-off Following the Worsening Situation of COVID-19.

It was the 1st time that Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings managed to get into the Top-4. Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans were Scheduled to play the other.

PCB Postpone the Remaining PSL Matches

The Pakistan Cricket Board had already Condensed the Schedule of PSL by Cancelling the Play-off and opting for the Semi-Finals System. As Per the Planned schedule, the T20 Extravaganza was to be concluded on March 22. However, the PCB decided to decrease the number of matches even as a lot of foreign players started to leave the country amid Coronavirus fears.

The news was Confirmed on PSL’s official Twitter page and added that the matches will be Rescheduled for a Later Date.

“PSL 5 postponed [has been postponed], to be rescheduled. More details to follow in due course,” the post read.

“PSL 2020 postponed, to be rescheduled. More details to follow in due course,” the PCB said in a post on Twitter.

Boom Boom Shahid Afridi is Sad to see PSL ends this way but he also Appreciated the Decision of Postponing PSL for Safety of People.

Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar agreed with the PCB’s call, saying that “at this time of hour we needed to do what the world was doing”.

Soon after the news became public, Salman Iqbal, the owner of Karachi Kings, one of the four sides in the semi-finals, told ESPNcricinfo, “I have been asking for it to be postponed for the past two days, as we [PSL] was the only cricket going on. But, anyway, it’s a very good decision by the franchise owners and the PCB management.”

Sports Analyst Fakhar e Alam said that we need to fight this Global Pandemic TOGETHER!

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been Suspended till April 15 and there might be a Possibility that Cricket Fans will be Deprived of this CRICKETING ACTION.

“We will reassess the situation every week. We will (coordinate) with the (authorities) and workaround. “So, We can’t say that at the moment. As much as we want the IPL to happen, we are also careful about the security of the people. It’s too premature. Allow us a week and then we will figure out things go around in the world and decide,’ Ganguly Said.
