According to the Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the entire occupied territory particularly the Kashmir has been turned into a military garrison. As Indian troops and police personnel are deployed in every nook and corner. Following up the Tragic Situation in IOK, Journalists, Celebrities and other Well-Known Personalities of the Country have started a Protest March towards the Line of Control upon the call of Imran Khan. Celebrities are Responding Imran Khan’s Call to observe Kashmir Hour on Friday.
India’s government, led by the Hindu-nationalist BJP decided on August 5 to Scrap the Special Status of Kashmir by Revoking Article 370 of the Indian constitution. The government instituted a security lockdown and communications blackout to avoid violence. The clampdown is now on its 25th day.
PM Khan Urges Pakistanis to Observe “Kashmir Hour”
Prime Minister Imran Khan called on all Pakistanis to take part in ‘Kashmir Hour’, on Friday at 12pm. The March is aimed to draw the attention of the International Community and World Human Rights Bodies. So, they can take notice of Indian Nefarious Designs against the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“I want all Pakistanis to come out tomorrow 12 noon-12.30pm to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people and send the Kashmiris in Indian-occupied Kashmir a clear message that the entire Pakistani nation stands in solidarity with them and against Indian fascist oppression, the inhumane 24-day curfew, the daily injuring and killing of Kashmiri civilians, including women & children — all part of the ethnic cleansing agenda of the Modi government and its illegal annexation of IoK,” said the premier via Twitter.
Celebrities are Responding to Imran Khan’s Call to observe Kashmir Hour on Friday
Many Celebrities are Gearing up to observe ‘Kashmir Hour’ upon the call of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistani Showbiz stars, Sportsmen and other Prominent Personalities sprang to action. They will also observe Kashmir Hour on Friday, to show Solidarity with Kashmiri People.
Famous Cricketer Shahid Afridi will be at Mazar e Quaid to observe the Kashmir hour. Afridi also invited People to Respond Much on PM’s call.
