Pakistan took a steady and thoughtful step to Establish a Genial Neighboring Relationship between the two countries. Moreover, Lahore Wagah Shuttle Train Revived after 22 Years.

Pakistan Railways (PR) Hurled the Lahore-Wagah shuttle train on Saturday to Resuscitate its Daily Operation after 22 years.

The train service, which was erstwhile planned to begin from Dec 7, would deliver a Hassle-Free and Comfortable Travel Facility. Across the border and in Pakistan too there are hundreds of Visitors Aiming to Witness THE BIG CEREMONY, flag hoisting at Wagah or visiting Jallo Park.

We want to start or revive the connection of Lahore metropolitan city with its suburbs through rail routes. And Lahore-Wagah is a first step that would be followed by another train from Lahore to Raiwind within the next 15 days. And in January, we will launch Lahore-Gujranwala train that would be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan.”

Lahore Wagah Shuttle Train Revived after 22 Years

The shuttle train service between Lahore and Wagah Railway Station will take Lahoris to Wagah for Rs30. It has been restarted after 22 years.

The train would take an Hour to reach Wagah railway station by taking Short Halts at Jallo and other local channels. It would complete three-round Expeditions Diurnal and would provide the Itinerant Facility to over 1,000 passengers. The PR revamped three passenger coaches adorned with outer interesting pictures of Minar-i-Pakistan, Rangers parade at Wagah border, etc. The PR has fixed an economical fare of Rs30 per passenger.

The Core objective behind running shuttle trains

 The decision of the shuttle train was not to earn revenue but to provide hassle-free traveling to several people daily.

 “We are presently running 138 trains. And soon we will also inaugurate work on the ML-1 (mainline) project from Karachi to Peshawar.”

Hopefully, the peace thriving effort would develop reconciliation between India and Pakistan. Pakistan is always ready to show and act level headedly.
